If you’ve been dreaming of a laid-back, adventurous elopement in the mountains, Victoria and Jacob’s North Georgia elopement is all the inspiration you need. They chose to get married on Valentine’s Day — a date that’s always been meaningful in their relationship — and every part of their day was full of love, laughter, and stunning mountain views. From their sweet dog being part of every moment to romantic sunset photos with lanterns and a magical sparkler send-off, this day was everything an intimate mountain elopement should be.
Victoria and Jacob started their day getting ready at their gorgeous mountain Airbnb. The house had huge windows with incredible mountain views, making the perfect backdrop for those quiet, emotional moments before the ceremony. Their sweet dog was right by their side the entire time, bringing so much joy and personality to the day. Victoria’s dress was full and elegant, and Jacob looked so sharp and relaxed — you could tell they were both so excited.
They said their vows on the deck of the Airbnb, surrounded by their closest family, friends and their cutie dog. The mountain view behind them was breathtaking, the ceremony was full of personal touches. Their dog even signed their marriage license!!! Literally the cutest moment!
After the ceremony, we snuck away for sunset photos at a nearby mountain overlook. The light was absolutely magical, and Victoria and Jacob were so natural and in love. We brought lanterns along, and they added such a romantic, cozy vibe to the photos as the sun dipped below the mountains. We captured those quiet, joyful moments where they just got to take it all in — their first sunset as a married couple.
Back at the Airbnb, they had a relaxed dinner with their family. Victoria homemade the BEST lasagna and garlic bread for everyone to share. The table was set with beautiful, simple decor, and the atmosphere was warm and full of laughter. They toasted, shared stories, and just enjoyed being together — the perfect end to a perfect day. To cap off the night, they celebrated with sparklers on the deck, making for such a fun and magical ending.
The next morning, we did a laidback day after session. Victoria and Jacob cozied up with coffee on the deck and later hopped into the hot tub with those same stunning mountain views. Their dog even made a few adorable appearances! It was such a fun and unique way to capture those just-married vibes.
