Pierina & Nick’s North Carolina Elopement was an intimate, dreamy elopement if I’ve ever seen one! It was seriously so meaningful and everything came together perfectly. Between the gorgeous a-frame, picnic and florals, this day was truly a fairytale!

Getting Ready in North Carolina A-frame

Pierina & Nick chose to spend the majority of the day hanging out and getting ready together. The hair & make up artist came to the Airbnb to do Pierina’s hair & make up while Nick got ready and played with their cute doggo. They laughed and soaked in every moment while Noah Kahan played in the background and Nick sipped on his favorite IPA.

Once they were both ready, they took a quiet moment to write their vows to each other. It was important to them to wait until the day of their elopement to write their vows so that it would be more meaningful. They would be feeling the high of the wedding day and the words would be so full of love.

First Look

To go with the theme of the day, Pierina & Nick wanted to have a more intimate first look. Not just the classic shoulder tap! So while Pierina got ready upstairs, Nick stood out in front of the Airbnb. Then when she was ready, they stood back to back while holding hands and just soaking in the feeling of being in the moment with each other. When they were ready they turned around and saw each other in the most incredible first look EVER!

Private North Carolina Elopement Ceremony

The incredible a-frame that they were staying at made for the PERFECT back drop for their wedding ceremony! The beautiful florals along with with glass cylinders and candles made the “alter” even more romantic. They said their vows in private while laughing and reminiscing on the their journey as a couple.

Intimate Picnic Reception

Now for the BEST part! Pierina & Nick new they didn’t want to skip having a fun “reception” just because they were eloping. So they had an incredible picnic set up where they fed each other and played with their dog. Then ended it with a champagne pop!

First Dance around the Campfire

BUT that’s not all! To end the most magical day, Pierina & Nick danced around the campfire while the sun went down. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Intimate & Unique North Carolina Airbnb Elopement

Pierina & Nick knew they wanted something intimate & unique for their elopement day so that is exactly what they did. They planned a day that wasn’t stressful and that was full of the things they loved most, like their dog.

They wanted it to be just the two of them because they wanted to be able to truly focus on each other and not have to worry about anything or anyone else. The unique A-frame made the perfect backdrop for them because they have always loved how cozy a-frames are.

Incredible Airbnb in Black Mountain, North Carolina

Black Mountain A-Frames was the backdrop for Pierina & Nick’s North Carolina elopement. This is a set of 4 identical a-frames located in the heart of of Black Mountain, NC. With all of the amenities and within walking distance of downtown, this Airbnb was the perfect spot for and elopement. Not to mention, the hosts were so helpful and offered tons of local suggestions.

Black Mountain is located 20 minutes outside of Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Downtown offers amazing food, markets and coffee shops that will make you feel like you are in a Hallmark movie. It is the perfect place for your North Carolina Elopement!

She hung out while they celebrated and then packed up after they were done. She never rushed them or made them feel uncomfortable and she was there to serve them as much as possible.

Ivy with Contentment Floral Design made the most stunning florals for Pierina & Nick! She took a few inspo pictures and created a magical bouquet & boutonnière plus 3 table scape florals for the ceremony and picnic. It made the day so much more dreamy!

Skylar with Locks & Lashes is an INCREDIBLE hair & make up artist! She not only did amazing work and made Pierina’s vision come to life but she added so much fun to the getting ready atmosphere. Her work photographed so, so well!
